Location is the key to the Waltham West Suburban area’s appeal as a place to live, work, and raise a family. Many older, established neighborhoods where families have lived for generations continue to flourish.

As in years past, industrial and commercial growth has been accompanied by the development of residential communities.

Today’s high-tech industries have brought with them a mix of new developments designed for single professionals, young married couples, and families.

The Waltham West Suburban area has always been attractive to those who work in Boston, but prefer the easier pace and atmosphere of suburban living. The area is home to a growing community of those who take advantage of the easy commute to Boston or offices along Route 128/95, the “High Tech Highway.”

From the mid 90’s to present, building has been steady with well-planned developments and new condominium projects.

Some of the more popular housing options range from traditional to contemporary, new or rejuvenated, single-family, two-family, condo, townhouse and apartment developments.

There are homes to suit all lifestyles and budgets, the choice is limitless. Lincoln and Weston offer country charm in an area of farms and estate-type homes. Both are among the state’s wealthiest communities.
